The Domestic Life of Mollusks

The Domestic Life of Mollusks

January 4, 2014

Sent away from home after a tragedy in the family, nine-year-old Aiden now lives with his uncle, a struggling, absent-minded writer, not entirely sure how to deal with his silent, still grieving nephew. Left to himself most of the time, Aiden finds himself wandering around the garden and nearby woods until he discovers a box of unfinished drafts in the garage. As he reads each draft, alone in thewoods, he makes up his own endings and watches them come to life before him. And, as these stories he invents begin to mirror reality, he starts dealing with his own grief and comes to terms with life, loss and moving on.
